Skirts over trousers are having quite the moment at London Fashion Week - this morning's Mulberry show was the third time we'd clocked them on the catwalks in as many days (yesterday it was at Clements Ribeiro and Marques' Almeida).
Great selection of outerwear - strong and defiant sleeves that protruded in short puffs on tunic dresses (more trousers beneath), or coats of brown and green tweed plaid, straightened sheepskin at the collars and hair worn tucked in. Gloves ran all the way upthe arm and up into those shapely sleeves.
Autumnal florals and woodland creatures crept into prints to relay the brand's traditional British heritage but there was a distinctly sophisticated sensibility to this collection - oxblood reds, forest green, maroon.
